Accessibility

URV has fulfilled its undertaking to ensure the accessability of its Web site by complying with all the recommendations of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and other international organisations. The aim is to provide a Web site that works better for everyone and with any browser.

Our Web site is also accessible from the point of view of ease of use because it has been modified so that it can be easily accessed by the greatest number of people, regardless of their experience, abilities or context. It has an easy design and an efficient and straight-forward structure.

Most of the contents of the URV Web site comply with level AA accessibility recommendations laid down by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), some of which have been improved upon to increase accessibility.

  • All the pages work without JavaScript being activated.
  • XHTML standard compliant to facilitate correct visualisation in different browsers.
  • CSS content positioning without tables enabling screen-readers for people with impaired vision and the blind to read the document in a logical order.
  • The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 1.0, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) have been followed.
  • People with impaired vision can change the text size and colour with the navigator tools. We have provided a style sheet to make printing more user-friendly.

Improving accessibility is a constant process. Please help us continue to improve the accessibility of our Web site by sending us any suggestions you might like to make. We have provided a feedback form for this purpose. Thank you.
